We’re sinking, sinking! :)

It’s Friday of 4th of July weekend, and to quote a neighbor, I can feel the peninsula slowly sinking as the great mass of tourists arrives. :) I smile because it’s a cute thought, not because I am happy all these people are here.

I feel sort of held hostage on our own property. If I value my safety or sanity, I won’t stray out there. God knows I have no desire to rub elbows with people, people, people, PEOPLE! EVERYWHERE!! People, people…
